Venza Hybrid Performance Features
The brand-new Venza comes equipped with Toyota’s next generation Hybrid System. The system combine’s the best of both worlds, by offering impressive power output, while delivering outstanding fuel efficiency.
The system combines an available 2.5-litre DOHC four-cylinder gas engine with three electric motors to deliver 219 HP in a perfect blend of power and efficiency. Fuel economy is rated at manufacturer-estimated 6.1L/100 km combined fuel consumption.
Electronic On-Demand All Wheel Drive (AWD-E)
Helping you do more with less, the Venza’s on-demand AWD kicks in automatically, when required. The system can seamlessly transfer up to 80% of its power to be distributed to its rear wheels, using a dedicated rear-mounted electric motor. This results in better handling performance and traction in less favourable weather.
The Venza utilizes three distinct Drive Modes
- EV Mode Exclusive use of electric motor, ideal for short distances in the city
- ECO Mode The system automatically manages fuel inputs while optimizing the air conditioning system for maximum fuel and driving efficiency.
- Power Mode This mode lets the system function with input for the gas pedal, to obtain the most amount of power required for spirited driving.
